A Câmara de Direito Digital (CDD-ABPI) e o Centro de Solução de Disputas em Propriedade Intelectual (CSD-ABPI) vão realizar no próximo dia 31 de julho o evento online “AI Regulation and Dispute Resolution: The European perspective and what to expect in Brazil”, com a participação de Aurélien Boucher, sócio IT & Data at hw&h Avocats & Rechtsanwalt e Clara Affeld, diretora-adjunta da CDD-ABPI.
Durante o encontro, os especialistas vão tratar de temas relevantes como:
– AI Act e a abordagem europeia para a regulação da inteligência artificial;
– o Projeto de Lei de IA no Brasil (PL 2338/2023):
– convergências, contrastes e pontos de inovação em relação ao modelo europeu;
– como os meios alternativos de resolução de conflitos podem se firmar como instrumentos eficazes para lidar com disputas jurídicas decorrentes do uso da Inteligência Artificial.
O evento será conduzido em inglês, é gratuito para associados da ABPI e há descontos especiais para entidades parceiras e especialistas da CDD-ABPI não associados à ABPI.

The Digital Law Dispute Resolution Chamber (CDD-ABPI) and the Center for Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution (CSD-ABPI) will host the online event “AI Regulation and Dispute Resolution: The European Perspective and What to Expect in Brazil” on July 31, featuring Aurélien Boucher, IT & Data Partner at hw&h Avocats & Rechtsanwalt, and Clara Affeld, Deputy Director of CDD-ABPI.
During the event, the experts will address key topics such as:
▪️ The AI Act and the European approach to AI regulation
▪️ The Brazilian AI Bill (PL 2338/2023): similarities, differences, and innovative aspects compared to the European model
▪️ How alternative dispute resolution mechanisms can become effective tools for handling legal disputes arising from the use of artificial intelligence.
The event – that will be conducted in English – is free for ABPI members, with special discounts for partner organizations and non-member specialists from CDD-ABPI.
